SRC Promotes Andrew Tormey to AVP, Domestic Business Development
Syracuse, NY – SRC, Inc. ("SRC" or "Company"), is pleased to announce that Andrew Tormey has been named assistant vice president of domestic business development.
Tormey will lead domestic business development efforts, working closely with operations, strategy and international business development teams to identify new markets, strengthen customer and industry relationships and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities.
"Andrew has consistently driven growth across some of our most important defense programs, building strong relationships and delivering results in highly competitive markets," said Kevin Hair, president and CEO. "His leadership will help expand our domestic footprint and position us for the next phase of growth."
Tormey joined SRC in 2018 in the business development division and most recently served as business development director. In that role, he led key Navy and strategic accounts spanning radar, electronic warfare, unmanned systems and intelligence programs, helping secure significant wins with both new and existing customers.
Prior to joining SRC, Tormey served as a business development manager at Gryphon Sensors and as a senior commercial operations account leader at General Electric. He also worked as an intelligence analyst at the Office of Naval Intelligence and served as an officer aboard the USS Carter Hall, where he led teams and managed complex operational programs.
Tormey holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the United States Naval Academy and a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
