Syracuse, NY – SRC, Inc. ("SRC" or "Company"), is pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Barnum to Director, Systems Engineering.

In this role, Barnum will lead the systems engineering group, overseeing a team of approximately 80 engineers focused on system architecture, design and analysis. He will guide the group’s technical direction, including professional development, processes and tools, while working closely with the assistant vice president of engineering and cross-functional leaders to support program execution and long-term growth. Barnum will also manage staffing alignment across programs, mentor technical leads and ensure teams deliver on schedule, within budget and with strong technical performance.

Barnum has more than 20 years of experience leading systems engineering across complex, multi‑disciplinary programs. His background includes requirements development, system architecture, integration, and verification & validation, supported by strong technical planning and risk management. He also brings substantial engineering program management expertise in resource planning, budgeting, and scheduling and earned value management. Most recently, he served as lead systems engineer and engineering program manager, guiding teams of over 50 engineers through high‑visibility development and test efforts.

Barnum holds a master's degree in mechanical engineering from Alfred University and a bachelor's degree in physics from Le Moyne College. He joined SRC in 2011
