SRC, Inc. Announces Participation in SkillBridge Program

Dayton, OHSRC, Inc. ("SRC" or "Company"), is pleased to announce its participation in the defense department's SkillBridge program, welcoming Beau Emerick, U.S. Air Force senior technical ELINT analyst, through the initiative. The program supports service members as they transition from military to civilian careers, aligning with SRC's long-standing commitment to the nation's veterans.

SkillBridge provides active-duty service members the opportunity to gain real-world industry experience during the final 180 days of their military service. Through the program, transitioning service members will work within SRC teams across the country, gaining exposure to real projects, manufacturing environments, engineering disciplines and corporate operations.

"The experience service members bring is invaluable," said Kevin Hair, president and CEO. "SkillBridge creates a path for them to apply that experience in new ways, and it allows us to build our team with people who understand the mission from the inside."

Emerick brings extensive experience analyzing signal structures, evaluating emitter functions and supporting strategic military operations, which will directly inform his work in analytical research and development, software user experience feedback and AI/ML testing at SRC.

"I had experience working with similar platforms during my time in the military and previously collaborated with SRC civilians, which gave me a strong appreciation for their processes, mission and professionalism" said Emerick. "Joining SRC was always a goal of mine, especially because the work closely aligns with my military background. It also provides a great opportunity to continue meaningful work while being closer to my family."

SRC remains dedicated to expanding its SkillBridge participation, developing the next generation of talent while continuing to deliver innovative solutions in support of the warfighter. More than 20% of SRC's workforce is comprised of veterans who have successfully transitioned to civilian careers, exemplifying the organization's mission to keep America and its allies safe and strong.
