Syracuse, NY – SRC, Inc. has been awarded a follow-on contract to deliver its SR Hawk surveillance radar systems to the Polish military for integration into the AWR artillery reconnaissance vehicle, based on the Rosomak wheeled armored personnel carrier (APC). This award builds on SRC's longstanding partnership with WB Group to support the Polish Armed Forces and the defense of the European Union, following previous contracts from 2021 and 2024 for BWR-1D/S Reconnaissance Fighting Vehicles and 2024 for AWR artillery reconnaissance vehicles. The addition of SRC's SR Hawk surveillance radar, the artillery reconnaissance vehicles integrate the system's Fall-of-Shot capability with WB Group's TOPAZ Automated Fire Control System, enabling full situational awareness and automated battlefield system cueing. "SRC is proud to support the ongoing modernization of Poland's armed forces and build on the success of earlier SR Hawk deployments," said Kevin Hair, president and CEO of SRC, Inc. "This award underscores the strength of our partnership and our commitment to delivering advanced technologies that enhance battlefield awareness and improve operational effectiveness, helping keep our allies safe and strong." With more than 500 units deployed worldwide, the SR Hawk radar can detect artillery bursts, personnel, land vehicles and marine vessels, making it ideal for a wide range of applications including border surveillance and artillery spotting. SRC continues to improve this system with hardware and software updates that enhance usability and performance. The radar is manufactured and supported by SRC in the USA.
