SRC Awarded $90 Million Contract to Provide Technical and Scientific Support to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency

Syracuse, NY – SRC, Inc. has been awarded a $90 million, 5-year contract to provide technical and scientific support to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics and Office of Superfund Remediation and Technology Innovation.

Under the contract, SRC will develop science-based solutions for improving public and environmental health. The work includes gathering and analyzing data on chemical hazards, assessing risks from exposure to chemicals in the environment and developing tools and models for predicting hazardous properties of chemicals and risks from exposure. Additionally, SRC will assist the EPA in developing guidance for conducting risk assessment and provide training to EPA scientists in various aspects of chemical hazard and risk assessment.

SRC has been assisting EPA programs for more than 40 years and is recognized as a leader in developing tools to assist and improve EPA data analysis and evaluations of chemical hazards and risks.
