James Werner Elected to SRC Ventures Board of Directors

Syracuse, NY – James (J.B.) Werner has been named to the SRC Ventures Board of Directors.

Werner brings more than 38 years of experience in leadership positions including engineering, sales, marketing, operations and senior management. He is currently the CEO and board chairman of G.A. Braun, Inc. and CNY Fabrication, LLC. His expertise includes manufacturing large capital equipment worldwide, developing cohesive teams in all areas of manufacturing, leadership development and new product development and deployment. Werner led G.A. Braun’s senior leadership team to create an innovative, vertically integrated manufacturing model that moved from a 90% reliance on outsourcing to 90% in-house manufacturing. This led to the establishment of CNY Fabrication which performs custom contract metal fabrication and sustains a local workforce by being part of the “Buy American” movement. Werner holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Syracuse University.
