SRC Awarded IDIQ Contract to Support the U.S. Air Force Range Threat Systems Branch

July 27, 2021

Syracuse, NY – SRC, Inc. is one of 20 companies that have been awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a $950,000,000 ceiling for support of the Air Force’s Advanced Radar Threat Systems, Joint Threat Emitter and Branch Modernization programs.

This contract is part of a multiple award effort to provide the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Range Threat Systems Branch with prototypes, hardware and software upgrades, engineering analysis, and necessary support to upgrade and modernize combat test and training ranges. SRC has developed a suite of electronic attack receivers (EAR) that enhance capabilities of existing threat simulator platforms. These EARs process signals emitted by aircraft during training missions and detect and parameterize electronic countermeasures. As part of this effort, SRC will work to develop, produce, and modify range threat emitter and combat training systems.

The Air Force Range Systems Branch provides threat radar systems along with supporting tools and infrastructure to the U.S. Air Force’s combat training ranges. These radars train the world’s best aircrews for survivability in high-threat environments.

“We are proud to support the U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center with innovative technology to prepare and train our warfighters,” says Kevin Hair, president and CEO of SRC. “Our work on this contract will help our military conduct successful missions and will support keeping America and its allies safe and strong.”

In addition to this contract, SRC works with the Air Force to develop and enhance Intelligence Mission Data, supply counter-UAS technology, and deliver leading edge technologies for next generation unmanned aircraft systems.
