Yuan Kong Joins SRC as Vice President, Quality

Syracuse, NY – Yuan Kong has joined SRC Inc., as vice president, quality.

In this position, Kong and his team will maintain and enhance the already high standards of quality for both hardware and software products at SRC throughout their entire product life cycle.

“We are thrilled to welcome Yuan to the SRC team,” said Kevin Hair, president and CEO of SRC. “He brings decades of experience in product development, test engineering, and quality that will help to ensure our customers receive the highest value, most reliable products so they can feel safe and secure while protecting America and its allies.”

Kong comes to SRC with 20 years of experience spanning product development, reliability, and quality for leading global organizations in the retail and electronics industries. He previously worked at YETI Coolers as head of quality, managing the efforts of corporate quality, supplier quality, new product development quality and process improvement. Kong holds a master’s degree in engineering management from Santa Clara University as well as bachelor’s degrees in electrical engineering and computer science and material science and engineering, both from the University of California, Berkeley.
