Deb Oliver Named to SRC Board of Trustees

September 30, 2019

Syracuse, NY – Deb Oliver, former president and CEO of Seagate Government Solutions, has been named the newest member of the SRC, Inc., board of trustees.

Oliver’s ability to develop and guide strong senior leadership teams has helped the companies she has worked for achieve their strategic objectives. Oliver began her career in the GE Aerospace Edison Engineering program and held various engineering positions with both GE Aerospace and Lockheed Martin. Oliver rose to program vice president at Lockheed Martin and in 2003 was selected as Lockheed Martin’s Stanford Sloan Fellow. Oliver continued her career at Vencore, Inc., a divested division of Lockheed Martin, where she worked as COO and executive vice president. In 2015, Oliver joined Seagate Government Solutions, a subsidiary of Seagate Technologies, providing IT solutions to the U.S. Government. As president and CEO of Seagate Government Solutions, Oliver was responsible for re-aligning SGS, retaining key personnel and positioning Seagate as a key provider for the U.S. government’s data storage and security requirements.

“Deb is an outstanding leader and we are excited to have her join the SRC board,” said retired Lt. Gen. Donald L. Kerrick, chairperson of the SRC, Inc., board of trustees. “Her strategic decision-making experience and knowledge of the defense industry will be a great asset to the SRC enterprise.”

In addition to serving on the SRC Inc., board of trustees, Oliver is a trustee of the CEO Trust, and a member of the Illinois Gas Company board of directors. Oliver holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, a master’s degree in management from Stanford Graduate School of Business, and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
