Marc Rose Named Director of Procurement at SRC

Syracuse, NY – SRC, Inc., is pleased to announce that Marc Rose (headshot) has been named director, procurement.

In this role, Rose will be responsible for purchasing and subcontract activities, and leading the effort to create process improvements that will enhance the procurement function for the business. In addition, he will provide comprehensive supply chain leadership and support to engineering operations, manufacturing, and external supply networks with a focus on material cost management, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.

“Marc is a welcome addition to our procurement team,” said Paul Tremont, president and CEO of SRC. “We will leverage his extensive background in purchasing and supply chain management to help us continue to ensure we are ready to support the significant growth at SRC and the emerging requirements for our customers.”

Rose has over 30 years of experience working in high-level procurement positions with increasing responsibility. Prior to joining SRC, Rose was most recently the director of business management at Atkins Nuclear Secured Holdings. He also worked for Parsons as the director of support operations and at Finmeccanica S.p.A as the supply chain director. Rose has a bachelorís degree in science-industrial management and a masterís in business administration from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona; and a juris doctorate of law from Southwestern University. Rose is a certified purchasing manager and is additionally certified in production and inventory management. He was previously the chairman of the board for Lehman Trikes and a member of the board at Customized Companion Care, Inc.
