George Styk Named Director of Quality at SRC

Syracuse, NY – SRC, Inc., is pleased to announce that George Styk (headshot) has been named director, quality.

In this role, Styk will be responsible for ensuring process and product compliance throughout product engineering and development, realization and production. He will also oversee the realization process through transition to production. Styk will direct software and hardware quality engineering, and oversee both the strategic direction as well as the day-to-day operations of the quality team.

“Georgeís background and vast experience in the quality field will be a great asset to SRC,” said Paul Tremont, president and CEO of SRC. “In this role, he will be implementing process improvements that will ensure our high standards are being met.”

Styk is a seasoned leader in quality management and operational excellence with over 30 years of experience in quality assurance and engineering. Prior to joining SRC, Styk was most recently the director of quality at the Harris Corporation where he led more than 200 employees across multiple sites in defining quality strategy, realigning organizational models, and affecting cultural and organizational transformation in quality assurance programs. He has a bachelorís degree in electrical engineering from Syracuse University, and a masterís degree in electrical engineering from Villanova University.
