Joseph Melita Promoted to Director of Production Engineering at SRCTec

Syracuse, NY – SRCTec, LLC, is pleased to announce the promotion of Joseph Melita (headshot) to director, production engineering.

In this new role, Melita will focus on planning and directing all aspects of production engineering including manufacturing, process and test engineering. Melita will oversee development and sustainment of manufacturing and test processes in support of reduced cost and cycle time and increased reliability and on-time delivery. Melita will also provide strategic direction on the capital investments necessary to continually enhance the organizationís production capability.

Melita has been with SRCTec for seven years. He has over 12 years of experience managing and developing teams of technical professionals. Melita earned his masterís degree in mechanical and manufacturing system integration from the Rochester Institute of Technology and his bachelorís degree in technology management from Oswego State University. Melita has also achieved both the Six Sigma Black Belt and Six Sigma Green Belt certifications.
