Abbe, Farrell and Henderson Named Business Development Directors at SRC

Syracuse, NY – SRC, Inc. is pleased to announce three new business development directors who will help to further the company's mission by expanding our customer base.

Stephen Abbe (headshot) has been appointed director, business development for the Electronic Warfare (EW) division. In his new role, Abbe will focus on business development in the EW modernization and simulation, testing and training markets. Having been with SRC for over 20 years, Abbe has maintained multiple leadership roles and holds the distinction of being one of the first employees at SRC to be awarded a patent for his Mobile Voice Verification System. Abbe's vast amount of experience extends far beyond engineering, as he has held positions in business development and project management, in addition to leading teams of technical professionals. He has an associate's degree of engineering science from Mohawk Valley Community College, a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Union College and a master's degree in electrical engineering from Syracuse University. Abbe also serves as the board vice president for the AOC CNY Empire Chapter.

Jon Farrell (headshot) has been named director, business development for the EW division. In this role, Jon will focus on the expansion and development of SRC's SIGINT and EW modernization programs in U.S. and international markets. He will continue to guide and support SRC's EW strategic investment and independent research and development projects. Farrell has been with SRC for 12 years and in that time, has filled the roles of chief engineer, engineering project manager, and lead systems engineer. Most recently, as the manager of the EW product engineering group, he led the systems engineering and software development of next generation SIGINT and EW technologies within SRC's Mission Intelligence and Engineering business unit. Farrell holds both a bachelor's and master's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio.

Van Henderson (headshot) joins SRC in the role of director, business development for the Technical Services division. He will focus on developing and implementing successful business strategies to expand our customer base for both the environmental health analysis business area, and the intelligence and information integration services business area. Henderson brings over 35 years of experience to his new role, having worked for a variety of large firms in similar technology areas. He has a proven track record of increasing market share and his efforts will be focused on reaching new customers and bringing to bear our technical excellence to solve their challenging problems. Henderson's initial focus will be on federal civilian agencies and DoD customers. Henderson graduated from Virginia State University, where he obtained his bachelor's degree in political science and master's degree in educational media. He then went on to pursue post graduate work and various other certification programs at the Universities of Michigan, Oklahoma, and Pennsylvania.
