Syracuse, NY – SRCTec recently completed the sale of two SR Hawk™ ground surveillance radars to the Taoyuan International Airport in Taiwan. These systems will be used to enhance perimeter security and protect against personnel intrusion at the airport.
“The SR Hawk system is ideal for perimeter security of critical infrastructure such as airports,” said Drew James, president of SRCTec. “We’re excited to be partnering with Taoyuan Airport to bring this technology to the international market.”
The SR Hawk radar provides wide-area situational awareness in a lightweight, performance-driven and cost-effective design. It is capable of tracking personnel, land vehicles, marine vessels and low-flying aircraft, making it the ideal sensor for the missions of perimeter security, border surveillance, and remote wide-area surveillance. The system was designed by SRC and is manufactured by SRCTec.
