William Pirillo is a member of the board of directors for both SRC Ventures, Inc. He retired in 2009 as the president/CEO of NYSTEC.

Under Pirillo’s visionary leadership, NYSTEC, a private, not-for-profit company, became fiscally independent of both New York State and its sponsoring organization (SRC, Inc.) while increasing its average five-year gross profit over 370 percent.

Prior to joining NYSTEC, Pirillo served as co-founder and president of The Center for Systems Thinking & Innovation, Inc., a training and consulting organization. He also spent 23 years at Black Clawson in Fulton, N.Y., being promoted to increasingly responsible management positions in the areas of industrial engineering, manufacturing, information systems, employee relations and strategic planning.

In addition to his membership on the SRC Ventures board, Pirillo also serves on the board for NYSTEC and previously served on the board for Leadership Mohawk Valley.
